The Australian Newspaper along with Shell are running a challenge to find Australia’s most inspiring innovations and are offering $70,000 in prize money. There are seven categories (so I’m guessing there’s $10k up for grabs for each category) including ‘education’ so it would be wonderful to see someone from the L&D/OD community win a prize (as well as gain some recognition of course!). You’ll have to be quick though as last date for entries is the 12th of October.
The blurb on the Australian newspaper’s website says…
The Australian Innovation Challenge is now open for submissions. From across the seven professional categories and the general public category for “Backyard Innovation”, we want to reward you for the best idea or innovation that could make a difference and inspire the nation. Over the next three months, The Australian Innovation Challenge will showcase the best and brightest the nation has to offer. Not only could your idea be recognised in the nation’s leading national newspaper and website, but you could be rewarded with a share of $70,000 to help you on your journey in bringing your idea to life.
