So, whilst absolutely everyone knows Mary Poppins, what most people don’t know if that she was the inventor of gamification!
Don’t believe me?
Well, WAAAAAY back in 1965 she was on film saying “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and ‘SNAP’, the job’s a game” and, without even knowing it, invented gamification. It just took us another fifty years to catch on.
I’ll take my tongue out of my cheek now. 🙂
