L&D Event Alert: Australian Learning Impact Awards – Brisbane – 29th Sep 2018

Learning and Development Industry Event Alert - Australian Learning Impact Awards - L and D Generous

Before I get into the main point of this post, I want to apologies for being AWOL for the past week or so. I’m afraid I came down with a severe case of the dreaded ‘Man-Flu’, so spent a few days at home feeling very sorry for myself.

Australian Learning Impact Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner

For those of you that haven’t got your ticket for the Australian Impact Awards yet, there’s still some available!

For anyone that doesn’t know anything about these awards, they’re ILP’s (Institute of Learning Professionals) annual Learning and Development Industry awards night and this year’s event is being held on Saturday the 29th September at the Queensland State Library, South Bank, Brisbane.

The awards night is one of the very few Learning and Development industry events held in Brisbane so, whilst they’re attended by L&D professionals from across the country (indeed, from around the world), they offer a rare opportunity for Queensland based L&D people to attend a local event.

In addition to finding out what innovative initiatives the award nominees have been doing for their workforce to get nominated, the event provides an awesome opportunity to network and share ideas with others in the Learning and Development industry and, as if that’s not enough, offers a delicious three-course dinner and drinks with entertainment against the backdrop of Brisbane Riverfire fireworks display.

This year’s award categories include:

  • Learning Provider of the Year
  • Learning Team of the Year
  • Learning Professional of the Year (ILP Members only)
  • learning Impact Program of the Year
  • Innovation Learning Award
  • L&D Manager of the Year
  • Future of Learning Award
  • ILP Lifetime Achievement Award

Thanks, as always, for reading. I hope it was of interest. Please be sure to like, comment, follow, and share.
